In this context, discussions around possible models of legal aid at police station are of prime importance. In this document, CHRI puts forth its recommendatory model for ensuring prompt and effective access to legal aid at the police station. This model is based on consultations held with various stakeholders including state legal services authorities, academicians and experts in this field.
