Police Reforms : Where we Work

At present, we work on both country specific as well as regional levels. On a regional level, we work in South Asia and East Africa, and our presence in Ghana gives us space in West Africa. We work specifically in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. The initial crucible of our work has been India, and it remains the place where the programme is the most developed, but our work has steadily grown in the other jurisdictions as well. Since 2013, we have embarked on a regional project across South Asia focused on civil society capacity building on police reform. This has enabled us to expand our partnerships across the region, do new research in different areas of policing and increase our interventions in each South Asian country.
