Joint Civil Society Letter to the NHRC on Oversight during COVID 19 Pandemic

Forty Eight civil society organisations and individuals jointly wrote to the NHRC seeking oversight of actions taken by administrations and police departments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The letter addresses important human rights concerns during the lockdown including police excesses, living conditions in judicial and non-judicial institutions, the situation of homeless and migrant workers, and children in conflict with law.
