CHRI revives monthly RTI news digest

This digest of Right to Information (RTI) related news stories across South Asia is a Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) effort to present a monthly compilation of online media coverage on use of public information in the region.

The collection includes stories from August 2016 of triumphs and trials RTI users have faced, instances of information commissions imposing penalties and pending court cases on RTI matters in India, among other issues.

We have highlighted some articles and also included an index that will make it easier for readers to search for stories.
