Verena Meyners is SDG 8.7 Programme Officer at CHRI, London. She is responsible for managing the Commonwealth 8.7 Network (https://commonwealth-87.org) and for liaising with the Network’s Management Committee. She works for Amnesty International UK in parallel.
Verena holds a law degree from the University of Hamburg, Germany. As part of her law studies she managed the legal department of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in New Delhi, India from January to March 2019 and worked in Germany as a public prosecutor from 2017 to 2018. Raja Bagga is Senior Research & Advocacy Officer at CHRI, London. He works on contemporary forms of slavery. He previously worked with the Prison Reform Programme at CHRI, India for five years.
