Aim

The aim of CHRI's programme in the Caribbean is to develop an increased demand for and achievement of police accountability and reform.

In May 2007, CHRI coordinated a workshop on police accountability in the Commonwealth at the CIVICUS World Assembly in Glasgow, Scotland. Carolyn Gomes, Director of Jamaicans for Justice, provided the Caribbean perspective on police accountability during a panel discussion.
