CHRI Director Sanjoy Hazarika's visit to Odisha

Sanjoy Hazarika with the Orissa police reforms team led by Dharmendra Panda at their office in Bhubaneswar. They discussed issues of how to collaborate better in a range of fields and develop more effective strategies including use of RTI and conducting workshops.

Sanjoy Hazarika with Vice Chancellor of the National Law University, Odisha, Prof Krishna Deva Rao at the tea stall of Prakash Rao in Cuttack. With his daily income of Rs 600 (about USD 75), Prakash Rao also runs a school for slum children in one of the rooms in his two-room flat. He has also mobolised a team of volunteers to assist and guide people and patients from out of town who maybe unfamiliar with the systems of one of the city's biggest hospitals. He provides a class of sweetened milk to the children who go to his school.
