Interesting
Fact: Out of the Commonwealth's 53 member
countries, 32 are classified as small states (population size
less than 1.5 million). Interestingly, 14 of these 32 small states
are located in the Western Hemisphere region, the vast majority
of which are further classified as small island developing states
(SIDS). That means that Canada and the UK are in fact the only
two member countries in the region not classified as small states.

60th Anniversary of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
CHRI London recently joined in the celebrations for the
60th anniversary of the UDHR hosted by the Human Rights
Unit of the Commonwealth Secretariat. A short video clip
