1. Alternative Law Forum
Alternative Law Forum is a law office in Bangalore attempting to evolve modes of practice that would democratise the lawyer-client relationship, and also to evolve ways of rendering the law accessible to the participation of lay people.

2. Combat Law
The online version of Combat Law, a Human Rights Magazine, aims to increase awareness of rights, connect legal initiatives, provide accurate and timely information and enable access to justice for the poor.

3. Human Rights Law Network
The network HRLN, which operates across India, undertakes legal aid and public interest work.

4. Lawyer's Collective
The Lawyer's Collective's current activities include providing legal aid for HIV/AIDS and domestic violence survivors

5. People's Union for Civil Liberties
The PUCL, an organisation free from political ideologies, provides one platform for people belonging to various political parties to come together for the defence of civil liberties and human rights.

1. Centre for Victims of Torture Nepal
The CVICT works to rehabilitate victims of torture and trauma, and to advocate for the prevention of human rights violations and abuses. It provides professional medical, psychosocial and legal services to torture victims and their families.

2. Forum for Women, Law and Development
The FWLD is a non-governmental organiSation whose mission is to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women in Nepal and protect and promote human rights through research and public education, advocacy, legal aid and litigation.

3. Human Rights Education Radio Programme (INSEC)
INSEC (Informal Sector Service Centre) has been running the Human Rights Education Programmes through Radio Nepal (the only national broadcast media) and also Sagarmatha FM.

4. USAID's Office of Women in Development
USAID sponsors Legal Aid Consultancy Centre, an independent non-profit, non-governmental legal resource organisation.

1. Center for Legal Aid Assistance & Settlement (CLAAS)
CLAAS provides legal assistance, help with re-settlement and long term support to victims of violence belonging to religious minorities. It also assists women and children victims of violence and sexual abuse. The CLAAS website includes information on access to justice issues in Pakistan.

2. Lawyers for Human Rights and Legal Aid
LHRLA provides preventive and remedial legal help to those who cannot afford the expenses of litigation, primarily in cases of woman and child abuse, trafficking, illegal detention, rape, torture, dissolution of marriage, child custody, the juvenile justice system, jail reforms and public interest litigation.

2. Pakistan AGHS Legal Aid Cell.
AGHS's Legal Aid Cell provides services on legal awareness, education, protection from exploitation, legal research, counselling and legal assistance.

3. Pakistan Women Lawyers' Association
PAWLA was founded with the intention to provide legal aid to women in distress.

1. Bar Association of Sri Lanka
Basic background of Sri Lanka, including information on the Legal Aid Foundation.

2. Law and Society Trust
The LST conducts a Legal Literacy and Human Rights Programme with an emphasis on providing legal awareness.

3. Legal Aid Services to Poor Women
