CHRI also strives to engage with relevant regional bodies in furthering human rights interests in Commonwealth member countries. CHRI holds Observer Status with the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights and is looking forward to greater engagement in the African system. An example of our advocacy in the Pacific region is our submission to the Pacific Islands Forum.
