Advocating For the Commonwealth Beyond the Commonwealth

CHRI also actively engages in advocacy with other associations in which Commonwealth countries are involved. This includes internationally (the United Nations for instance) and regionally (including the African Commission for Human and Peoples' Rights and the Pacific Islands Forum).

Ensuring that human rights concerns in Commonwealth countries are voiced in other fora as well contributes to a multi-pronged approach to advocating human rights issues and promoting change within all member countries of the Commonwealth.
